Girl Scout Badge Weekends The Girl Scout badge weekends are offered each spring and fall to Brownies, Juniors, Cadettes and Seniors at Sharpe Reservation. These all-inclusive weekends include lodging in our heated cabins with indoor bathrooms and showers, classroom buildings in case of rain, four meals provided by our dining service and full instructions by our professional Environmental Educators. A typical badge weekend begins with an 8:00 am Saturday morning registration in the Dining Hall. Classes begin at 9:15 am once all troops are registered and have time to move into assigned cabins and enjoy a buffet breakfast. After-dinner programming includes entertaining songs and campfire skits performed by each attending troop. The weekend concludes by 11:00 am on Sunday. A deposit of $30 is required to secure a reservation per attendee and is refundable up to two weeks prior to the event. A confirmation packet will be sent upon receipt of deposit with the registration form. Our fall 2011 Girl Scout Weekends will be open for registration on September 1st, 2011. The Brownie Weekend will be held on November 5-6, 2011, when we will be covering two Try-its: Eco-Explorer and Watching Wildlife. We are offering three regular Junior, Cadette and Senior Weekends: November 12-13, November 19-20, and December 3-4, 2011. We will cover two badges with the juniors: Finding Your Way and Wildlife. The Cadettes and Seniors will be completing High Adventure or Wildlife Interest Project. All weekends will be held at Camp Hidden Valley. The all-inclusive cost is $70 per Girl Scout and $50 per adult (The Brownie Day Trip is $52 per girl and $37 per adult, with one adult per troop for free). Brownies staying overnight can bring two adults for free, for all other troop levels one adult is free.
